BrakeAway Bike Tours   Tour of Greenwich
Greenwich

Join us on a journey to the home of time.

A trip to London is incomplete without a visit to maritime Greenwich. If you’re looking for the home of time, the meridian line – where east meets west – some of London’s most spectacular views, a wealth of fascinating history & the oldest enclosed Royal Park then join us on a captivating ride to the famous world heritage site.

This tour begins by visiting historical Borough Market & Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, then cycling along the Thames Path National Trail we take in many lesser-known attractions, including a nature reserve, a farm situated along the banks of the River Thames and the burial site of the ‘Master of the Mayflower’.

We then discover Greenwich itself, and take in the Old Naval College, the Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory & the breathtaking Greenwich Park, where we go hunting for deer (with cameras rather than muskets) and spectacular photo opportunities. The tour returns to our base near to Waterloo station, with a boat cruise along the River Thames (fare for the Thames Clipper not included). A truly enchanting bicycle adventure...
